Hartlepool Life photographer Michael Gant was welcomed along to take these images at the event in and around Church Square on Saturday.
People took to social media to express their enjoyment of the event’s third year in town.
Jackie Alton said: “We were there – absolutely brilliant day – first time going. I’ll go again, well done to you all” while Dianne Elizabeth Snowdon commented : I’ve had a wonderful day today, and I’m so grateful to everyone who helped make it possible” and
Carl Gorse added: “A brilliant day with plenty to do for everyone.”
The event was a vibrant and inclusive celebration of the town’s LGBTQIA+ community with live performances, creative activities, workshops, market stalls, and more.
Funding from the Tees Valley Combined Authority’s Festival Collectives Challenge Fund helped the event with the leadership of Hartlepool-based charity Curious Arts.
Curious Arts is a LGBTQIA+ arts and youth charity which is bringing together local voluntary committees to make Pride events happen across Teesside over this summer.
