The Greatham Feast took place this year on the Summer Solstice on Saturday all day on the village green.
The ever popular Feast celebrated its 565th year and organisers welcomed hundreds of people to the fun filled event.
The Greatham Feast Committee’s Toni-Louise Llewellyn said: “Not a lot of words to say at the moment other than thank you! What a weekend it’s been – an absolute pleasure! Thank you for all being so wonderful this weekend.”
People enjoyed a variety of fun activities during the day, the highlight of which was the ever popular parade.
Dean Whitlock and Ivy Hall were crowned the Greatham Feast King and Queen and then helped pick the winner of this year’s baby show, Lara Fernie.
Visitor Leanne Reay: “We have had an amazing weekend! Thank you to each and everyone of you for giving us such an amazing time” while Angela Riley Ingham commented: “What an amazing weekend – thank you all so, so much! We loved being there – looking forward to the next one!” and Sarah Pearson added: “Thank you all for another fantastic feast! You are all amazing!”
