Alice House Hospice’s Hootenanny and Beer Fest takes place once again at Hartlepool Rugby Club on Bank Holiday Sunday, 30 August.
The club, based at Mayfield Park, Easington Road, is now urging the town’s business community to get on board for this year’s festivities.
A HRFC spokesperson said: “For 11 years, the Hootenanny & Beer Festival has been bringing our community together every August Bank Holiday for great music, fantastic beer and unforgettable memories. You or your business can play a part in the continued success of this much-loved community event by sponsoring a barrel.”
They added: “Put your brand on tap and proudly showcase it in front of hundreds of festival-goers and come along and enjoy the fun for yourself! Thank you for your support – we can’t wait to see you in the tent!”
Last year’s Hootenanny raised almost £10,000 – with the Hospice’s Greg Hildreth saying: “We’re so grateful to everyone who gives their time, expertise and resources to this fantastic event. It’s an amazing team effort and the Hootenanny just seems to get bigger and better every year.”
