Hartlepool Brass Band will perform at Ward Jackson Park bandstand this Sunday, 26 July from 1pm.
The show follows the band’s first performance earlier this month in a series planned throughout this summer.
Band leader Dave Harrison said: “We had a fantastic turn out for our first performance of the summer at Ward Jackson Park. Everyone enjoyed the music in the sunshine and we hope to see even more people join us this weekend.”
The band attracted a sizable and appreciative audience for its first performance on the historic band stand this summer.
Visitor Gill Riddle said: “What a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours! Great weather, great setting and great music, made me feel so happy to live in Hartlepool!” while Linda Jean Craddy commended: “It was a lovely concert and beautiful day” and William Briggs added: “It was great to see everyone enjoying the sunshine and music at Ward Jackson Park – looking forward to the next one!”
The members of Hartlepool Brass Band looked resplendent in their uniforms and thoroughly enjoyed performing at the bandstand.
Hartlepool Brass Band returns to the bandstand on Sunday, 9 August and Sunday, 13 September with all shows from 1pm-3pm.
