Entertainment and prizes on offer at charity summer prize draw event
WE were very disappointed to have to cancel our planned charity fundraising day on 16 August but we are pleased to say our raffle will be going ahead as planned.
Thanks to the generous prize donations, it’s a bumper raffle with 45 brilliant prizes to be won.
We had intended to draw the raffle at the charity event but, as that has been cancelled, we are delighted to say Alison Marcus, and her team at the Greensides have kindly stepped in by offering to host our raffle draw on 16 August.
The DS43 team will be at the Greensides during the afternoon, raising awareness and answering any questions you may have. If you have ever wondered why we install these devices, how they are accessed and what value they bring to the town, come along and have a chat with us!
Our summer raffle will be drawn at 6pm in the Greensides bar. All winners will be notified by us, and the winning numbers will be posted on our Facebook page as well as in next week’s Hartlepool Life.
Bradley Frank, a local musician, has kindly offered his time and talent to entertain us all – he will be performing in the bar from 7pm.
The Greensides is a very popular venue to watch sport, enjoy a Sunday relaxing, catch up with friends or maybe have a meal. Come down and meet us, listen to Bradley and see if you have a winning ticket in our raffle!
Every penny we raise goes back into the community, installing and maintaining our network of defibrillators.
In July, we saw 23 deployments by the Ambulance Service to medical emergencies in the town – this brings the total to 1,400 deployments over the last five years.
