Twenty nine people enjoyed the “Endure 90” event at the “Exortus” gym on the Park View Industrial Estate.
Head coach and director Ash Mc Fee – who runs the business with his wife Natalie – said: “It’s been a great 90 minute workout for a fantastic charity and I would like to thank everyone who took part today. To make the event more challenging, myself and coach Josh Noble wore RNLI inshore lifeboat dry suits!”
He added: “The charity is very close to our hearts at the gym as some of our members are RNLI volunteer crewmembers and I have often heard their pagers go off at the gym and watch them heading off to the boathouse.”
Hartlepool RNLI Coxswain Matt Adams – who is a member of the gym – said: “I would like to thank Ash and everyone who took part in what I would like to describe as a ‘very challenging’ 90 minute challenge. The donations from those that took part in the event will help us play our part in saving lives at sea.”
