The May Bank Holiday was certainly a busy one with five of our defibrillators deployed by the Ambulance Service.
These deployments were across five of different locations – fortunately, none of them needed to be used but they were deployed as a precaution by the Ambulance Service.
We don’t know who these devices are deployed to, nor should we, we only know that someone has been asked to collect one and we wish those patients a speedy recovery.
Many thanks to everyone for returning them to their cabinets and well-done guardians for getting them checked and back to emergency ready as soon as possible.
Our guardians really are a special group of people – Bank Holiday or not, they respond promptly to ensure their defibrillator spends as much time as possible emergency ready for the next deployment.
We thought you may be interested in how we are informed when a defibrillator is deployed – below is an example of the email we and the guardian receive from The Circuit after each deployment by the Ambulance Service.
If you have a defibrillator that isn’t currently registered, we would urge you to think about registering with The Circuit, more information can be found via this link. https://thecircuit.uk/
