It feels like it’s been the longest winter ever but I’m feeling hopeful for the lighter nights. The World Cup is pending, and I’m sure a lot of us are ready to be chanting “It’s coming home” in the beer gardens or with a BBQ sizzling in our back gardens – and it always welcomes a fab atmosphere (providing we do well…).
I will be watching our first match in sunny Spain but I’m sure we girls, on our holiday, will bring all the enthusiasm to Algorfa. Although the rest of my summer is pretty clear, I’ll probably spend my time baking in the sun with my Kindle or out for cocktails with friends to make the most of it.
