Spokesperson Peter Gowland said: “At Hub 2, more commonly known as Greenbank, the grant funded much-needed roof and internal decoration works so that now we have a fully working communal kitchen again and, at nearby Hub 2, a new front door was installed in keeping with the original style of the property and which has made it much more secure for both visitors and tenants-as well as looking extremely attractive!”
He added: “Pride in Place is a government-funded 10-year regeneration initiative – with a particular emphasis on enabling the community to take the lead on deciding what might be best for improving their area and we remain very grateful for the excellent support we have been shown.”
