A POPULAR Hartlepool music school celebrated its 18th birthday in style!
Kate Sirs and her team of 10 teachers hosted six back-to-back concerts at The Steelies, featuring current and past members of the school, Hartlepool Children’s Choir, ladies’ choirs Songbirds and Harmonies Right There, the Blue Light Choir and the men’s guitar group “The Sirs.”
More than 200 people performed and over 700 parents, friends and family supported on the day.
A video about the school – produced by Gareth Hammond for Kino Hart – was shown later in the evening.
The night ended with older students performing live with Claypath Music.
A delighted Kate said: “IOt was a long and emotional day. Huge thanks to my staff, all the performers and their parents for making the day a huge success.”
