West Hartlepool RFC, on Catcote Road, hosted its classic car show which featured classic cars and vehicles, an auto jumble sale and live music from big band Musicians Unlimited.
Visitor Claire Chandler said: “This was surprisingly good, hundreds of classic cars on display and a great live band to boot. What a fab day out in Hartlepool!”
Her son Sean commented: “All the vehicles were great – I particularly liked the Lambourghinis and Ferraris” while his best pal Frankie added: “I loved it – some of the vintage VW camper vans were amazing.”
A spokesperson for West said: “The weather gods were smiling on us today. We had a fantastic day and it was lovely to see everyone there. We loved welcoming everyone for a brilliant day of cars, music, food, and great company.”
Meanwhile, the club’s popular West Fest returns on Saturday, 4 July, with real ales, live music and DJ sets.
Complementing the usual lineup of real ales and familiar lagers will be live band Sam Offender and special guests and Ibiza-esque DJ sets.
Tickets are £12.50 available from the club.
