POLICE are asking people to come forward who may have witnessed a man reportedly cold calling in the Foggy Furze area of Hartlepool.
Between Friday, 16 July and Monday, 20 July, officers received reports of a suspect who had reportedly been carrying out cold calling at the homes of elderly people and asking for money.
He is described as white, around 30 years old and riding a pedal cycle
Anyone who has not yet contacted police who may have witnessed this activity, or anyone who may have received a visit from this man to their home, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 141998.
