Hartlepool Rugby Club’s 11th Hootenanny & Beer Festival is now a fixture in the town’s summer calendar, bringing together friends, families and visitors for a day of live music, craft beers, street food and community spirit.
A spokesperson for headliners Next Stop Vegas said: “We had an absolute blast playing the Hootenanny & Beer Festival. The crowd, the food, the beer were all amazing. Massive shoutout to Hartlepool Rugby Club and especially Liam for booking us and, of course, hosting the entire event. Another massive shoutout to Marquee and Sound Solutions and Paul for the sound engineering. Finally we’d like to thank all the acts that made the festival so successful: Bradley Frank, Charlea B, Mixtape Energy, Freddie Mercury by David Arnett and DJ Fake Charles for keeping the crowd entertained during the changeovers.”
Carole Anne Swanson said: “What an amazing day! Thank you to everyone involved in the event. So well organised, too. Well done.”
Organiser Liam Lester, of Hartlepool Rugby Club, said: “It’s incredible to think we’re celebrating our 11th Hootenanny. What started as a tiny beer festival has grown into one of the biggest community events in Hartlepool, bringing hundreds of people together every year.”
