Stephanie Addison is taking up the role with Hartlepool’s Let’s Connect charity which is dedicated to supporting mental health across our community.
She says she is looking forward to helping the charity continue its work on mental health issues across the town.
Stephanie said: “I am honoured to join the Board of Trustees and look forward to working with the team to support the charity’s mission and contribute to the continued development of services that make a meaningful difference to people across Hartlepool.
I’m excited to be part of an organisation that is committed to building stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.
Just last month, Stephanie celebrated the 10th anniversary of her women’s mental health campaign, Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, back in 2016.
She added: “Let’s Connect works to reduce social isolation, strengthen community connections, and help people access the support they need to improve their wellbeing. The charity plays an important role in bringing people together and creating opportunities for individuals to feel connected, supported, and valued.”
Stephanie is also the co-founder of the Perinatal Mental Health Partnership, a national network that connects, supports and signposts women to appropriate services across the UK.
