Some 25 youngsters from Hartlepool’s KR Dance Studios are heading to the Dance World Cup finals in Dublin in July.
They are appearing at Ye Olde Durham’s Social Club this Saturday, 30 May, from 7pm, as they continue to raise funds to help them cover travel, accommodation, entry fees, and team kits for the prestigious event.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our dancers,” said Kim Ross, Creative Director at KR Dance Studios. “They have worked incredibly hard to earn their place representing England, and with the support of sponsors, we can ensure every child gets to step onto that world stage. We hope people will come along to our special evening and support our dancers on their way to the World Cup finals.”
Businesses or individuals interested in sponsoring or donating toward the team’s Dance World Cup journey can contact KR Dance Studios via email at k.r.dance@hotmail.co.uk or call 07590322792, or through social media.
Kim says that in return, sponsors will be acknowledged throughout the campaign, with brand visibility on team
kits, flags, and the studio’s social media platforms.
Tickets for the show at Ye Olde Durham’s are £4 and people can make donations at www.gofundme.com/f/were-going-to-the-dance-world-cup.
