Phil Holbrook hosts the 5k run event – around the town’s historic Headland – on Tuesday, 23 June in aid of Alice House Hospice.
This year, the run will start and finish at The Globe pub on Northgate from 6.30pm so people can then stay and watch England’s World Cup match which kicks off at 9pm.
Phil said: “Everyone is invited! Bring your friends and enjoy the atmosphere! Now in its 12th year, the event has been supported by hundreds of people and the only winner is always Alice House.”
He added: “Whether you run, walk, jog, toddle or simply stroll around is entirely up to you. People can also make a donation afterwards in the bar of the Globe if they wish, while enjoying a refreshing drink! I hope to see you there during the evening.”
Meanwhile, readers can still enter Hartlepool’s Race For Life this Sunday, 21 June starting at 11am.
The annual Cancer Research UK fundraiser once again takes in a 5K run along the Promenade at Seaton Carew and is always a fun day!
