A spokesperson said: “Bread is baked live on stage for the audience to taste at the end! Audiences have said: ‘Utterly superb!’, ‘Comic talent & apparently unlimited enthusiastic energy!’ and ‘Love the smell of baking bread’!”
They added: “The play’ stars Ellen Carnazza as ruthless Petronella Parfait – an ex-TV baking show host. She has recently been “let go” from a high profile TV show – under dubious circumstances – and is now trying to re-style herself in the cut-throat world of social media influencers.
Out of a job and out of her depth, follow Petronella’s hilarious slips and trips as she tries to keep the lights – as well as the oven – on in the face of almost certain doom. You can expect an evening of intrigue, bold flavours and a tasty treat for the audience at the end.”
