ANYONE interested in knowing why people wear a red poppy for Remembrance Day should pop along to the Hartlepool Headland Local History Group’s next meeting on Monday, 19th October.
The speaker will be Pam Jones, who will tell the group about The Significance of the Poppy at the Regent Street Baptist Church event.
The History Group meets monthly on a Monday with a Drop-In Session each month on a Tuesday. All are welcome.
