The prolific batsman has returned to Pool, where he will captain the side in the NYSD Premier Division.
Prince Harry spent five enjoyable summers at Park Drive from 2020 to 24, amassing over 2,700 runs, including seven centuries.
For the last two years he has played for Burnhopefield in the North-East Premier League but has now returned ‘home’ to lead Pool.
A top quality batsman, he looks set to reprise his mouth-watering opening partnership with Yash Vagadia, who skippered Pool to fifth place in the NYSD Premier Division this summer.
Crawshaw is the second major acquisition following the signing of Ashkit Sharma as the club’s overseas professional for 2027.
The non-arrival of Pool’s 2026 overseas pro, Mohammad Ashgar, left a huge void, especially in the bowling department, as did an injury to home pro Scott Borthwick, who was unable to deliver his leg-spinners until well into the season.
Pool have retained the services of Borthwick, who averaged 46.14 with the bat last season.
So too Vagadia, who enjoyed a golden summer, scoring an awesome 1,179 runs at an average of 56.14.
The 22-year-old is currently in Australia, where he is playing in Melbourne for Seddon CC
