A HARTLEPOOL EuroMillions £1m. winner has failed to come forward to claim their life-changing prize.
The money – which was won in the draw on Friday, 13 March – will now help benefit National Lottery-funded projects.
The holder of the winning ticket – Millionaire Maker code JLZG97793 – had until midnight on Wednesday, 9 September to come forward and claim their winnings.
A spokesperson for National Lottery winners Allwyn said the winner had been given six months to claim their prize.
They said: “While we are disappointed the winner never came forward, it’s fantastic that this money will now go on to support National Lottery-funded projects that help strengthen communities and improve lives across the UK.”
