Dozens of youngsters attended “Get into Games: Hartlepool” which took place at Hartlepool College of Further Education.
The event – in partnership with Hartlepool Borough Council and Game Republic – offered advice about careers in the games industry – ranging from art and design to programming, audio, production, and beyond.
An HBC spokesperson said: “It was great to see so many young people at Get into Games: Hartlepool. The event brought together industry professionals, local studios, colleges and universities to showcase the wide range of careers in the games industry from design and programming to audio and production.”
They added: “Attendees got the chance to hear from experts, try out games, take part in hands-on activities and get one-to-one advice on how to break into this exciting sector. A big thank you to everyone who attended the event which was delivered by national games skills charity Into Games, in partnership with Hartlepool Borough Council and Game Republic, and was headlined by Ubisoft Reflections.”
