The 32-year-old North Shields rocker’s “Proper Massive Stadium Tour ‘27” plays the venue on the 3rd and 5th June and tickets for the shows go on sale at 9.30am on Friday morning.
It’s been another massive year for the likeable, down-to-earth superstar who debuted “Rein Me In” – alongside Olivia Dean – to more than 80,000 fans at his London Stadium Show in June ‘25. A year later the song took on a life of its own, culminating in a record-breaking 23 non-consecutive weeks at Number One – making it the longest running Number One single in British history – as well as taking the Brit award for “Song of the Year” and topping the charts in Ireland for 18 weeks, equalling the country’s chart record.
Meanwhile Fender has revealed how he removed a ticket category from sale after being unhappy with pricing for his latest tour. He was later believed to have lowered ticket prices, claiming the “costs were astronomical compared to two years ago” but stating he was unable to control either the venues or ticketing fees.
He said on Instagram: “They’re getting changed. It got inflated, well more than I’d had in mind – it should only be inflated in relation to the cost of putting the show on.”
Sam added: “I’ve managed to get front standing ticket options from the tour. Whoever buys a standing ticket gets as much chance as anyone to be at the front.”
