Courtney rocked the music world when she landed the Golden Buzzer on “America’s Got Talent” when just 13 years old. Now, seven years on, the talented singer-songwriter – with one of the most unique voices in rock – is back on the road in the UK and set to play Hartlepool Steelies (South Durham WMC) on Saturday, 31 October – Halloween!
Hesleden girl Courtney, who is notoriously shy and rarely gives interviews, simply says on her Facebook page: “We’re visiting a load of new places and I can’t wait to get back on the road again. I am so, so excited!”
Despite being given the chance to become an overnight pop star after her US success, Courtney – described by many as being the new Janis Joplin – opted instead to concentrate on her songwriting and fine-tune her live performances.
Her debut album “Little Miss Jagged” came out last September and she is already working on songs for her second album.
Needless to say, tickets for Courtney’s first Hartlepool gig are going fast. They are available from https://www.ents24.com/…/south…/courtney-hadwin/7497262
