Alice House Hospice’s annual fundraising Colour Run at Seaton Carew took place on Saturday – and kind-hearted runners once again turned out in their hundreds, despite the warm temperature.

Spectator Sarah Magee Hutchinson said: “Such a brilliant morning, standing back and watching all of the participants was just amazing. Well done to everyone who played a part” while
Karen Scott commented: “Such a fantastic morning, well done to all volunteers and staff in front and behind the scenes,” and Lisa Bonham added: “I watched them finish to ‘We Are The Champions’ – colour everywhere, everyone plastered in it. Marvellous, well done all!”
The fun event sees runners and walkers pelted with multi-colored powdered paint as they help raise vital funds for the charity.
Alice House’s next fundraising event is the Hartlepool Motor Show on Sunday, 19 July at FC Hartlepool Grayfields, Jesmond Road from Noon to 4pm.
