Phil Holbrook hosted the yearly 5K run around the town’s historic Headland in aid of Alice House Hospice.
Hartlepool Life photographer Michael Gant captured these images as the runners set off from The Globe pub on Northgate and returned to watch England’s World Cup match later in the evening.
Phil said: “Everyone was invited and it was great to see so many people join us and enjoy the evening. Now in its 12th year, the event has been supported by hundreds of people, and the only winner is always Alice House.”
He added: “Everyone enjoyed a refreshing drink in The Globe afterwards and I would like to thank all the people who made donations there too.”
Phil is also well known as a member of Hartlepool Voice Choir and joins them for their annual summer concert at St Hilda’s Church Headland on Friday, 17 July.
