The hospice currently has nine charity shops throughout Hartlepool and East Durham which are currently facing a staffing crisis, directly impacting on its income generation.
The retail team is in desperate need of in-store retail assistants and assistants on the hospice vans, supporting drivers with deliveries of stock throughout the region.
Retail Senior Manager, Karen Witherley said: “Our biggest areas of need are on the vans who are out in the community every day and in our Headland shop on Northgate. If anyone can spare a few hours a week – or more, I would love to hear from them.”
