Hartlepool’s Community Led Inclusion Partnership (CLIP) hosted the event at an outdoor community space at the Burn Valley.
CLIP welcomed other organisations to look at how they could work together to help make the town healthier, both mentally and physically.
CLIP’s Tracie Bestford said: “We were all brought together by Juli Simons, from Hartlepool Community Trust, who felt it would be a really valuable idea for us to meet, as we all share a passion for gardening activities through our individual allotment projects.”
She went on: “We wanted to come together collaboratively, recognising how much knowledge, experience, and support we can share with one another. By working together, we hope to strengthen what we can offer across Hartlepool and create even greater opportunities for local people.”
Tracie added: “We hope that by building these connections and working together, we can reach and support even more people across Hartlepool while creating stronger, more connected communities that truly can ‘Grow Together’.”
