The annual carnival day festivities were a blast!
Each year, I meet up with friends and family to tour bars and houses and indulge in a couple of drinks (okay, maybe more than a couple). Surrounded by everyone in fancy dress, there’s always a fabulous atmosphere that all the Cod-heads will understand.
You see everyone from Disney characters to Michael Jackson walking around casually! The parade was great as always, so thank you to the Hartlepool Carnival Committee for that.
The events leading up to Carnival Day are always the highlight for the Headlanders, from darts to sandcastle building; there truly is something for everyone to get involved with.
I think the girls and I are looking to take part in the parade next year and are currently brainstorming costume ideas – so stay tuned!
